Faruk Seyitoğlu completed his PhD in Tourism Management at Akdeniz University in Antalya, Turkey. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Aveiro University in Portugal from September 2020 to July 2023. Seyitoğlu has authored many scientific papers in the field of tourism and hospitality and currently serves as an associate editor for the European Journal of Tourism Research and the Journal of Tourism & Development. Additionally, he regularly reviews papers for other reputable tourism and hospitality journals. His research interests include robotics and robotic technology in tourism and hospitality services, tourist behaviour and experience, destination management and marketing, gastronomy and food studies, tourism and hospitality education, and tourism planning and development.
