Ph.D. in business and economics from the University of Aveiro (Portugal), master's and specialization degrees in management (Management of Organizations – Business Management Branch) from the School of Technology and Management at the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança – ESTIG- IPB – (Portugal). He is an assistant professor of business and management at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Piauí (Brazil). Member of the research unit Governance, Competitiveness, and Public Policy (GOVCOPP) of the University of Aveiro. Current research topics include Innovation Management, Business Management and Organizational Behavior, linked to which Eduardo has been awarded prizes for his research.
