The theme of Learning Assessment has been emerging both in research and in educational policy agendas. This exploratory article intends to map scientific production, in English, on this theme in the Web of Science (WoS) referential base, focusing on the last decade (2010-2020). Through the bibliometric analysis of the information collected, relevant results were obtained for the identification of review articles, articles with strong semantic and co-citations, as well as a mapping of the theme structure. The strategy adopted and the results are valuable not only for initial researchers, who seek to locate their research topic within the area of learning assessment, but also for specialists who can deepen or expand their knowledge.
