Eunice Ramos Lopes has an Advanced Training Course in Tourism by the Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering and Tourism from University of Aveiro; a PhD in Anthropology (Specialization in anthropology of tourism, politics and images of Culture and museology) awarded by the New University of Lisbon; a MSc in Heritage and Museology awarded by the New University of Lisbon.
She is an Adjunct Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (IPT), at the Management School of Tomar (ESGT). S
Presently, she is the coordinator of the higher education courses of Tourism at the IPT.
She is a member of the I&D Unit in Technology, Restoration and Arts Enhancement Center (TECHN&ART, IPT). Collaborator member at the Network Research Center in Anthropology (CRIA-FCSH, UNL), research unit Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP, UA) of the University of Aveiro and Centre for Tourism Research, Development and Innovation (CiTUR, L)
She is also member of the editorial and scientific boards of a few academic national and international journals, as well member of the organizing and scientific committees of international tourism conferences.
Regularly publishes journal articles, conference articles and book chapters and peer review of various scientific journals.
Research areas include: tourism, cultural tourism, anthropology of tourism, heritage and museology.
