Funding Request

Please note that:

  • Refunds will only be processed after we receive manuscripts that comply with the affiliation and advertising rules applicable to GOVCOPP and FCT.
  • All invoices/receipts must include the details of the entity or service provider: name of the entity issuing the invoice/receipt, address, and Tax Identification Number (NIF). In addition, they must include the following information about the University of Aveiro: its Tax Identification Number (501461108) and the commitment number.
  • All paper receipts for public transportation (subways, buses, trains, taxis) must be submitted—with the UA’s tax ID number—to the GOVCOPP technical team (either in person or by mail).
  • Without the information listed above, the invoice/receipt is not valid for the University of Aveiro, which makes it impossible to reimburse the researcher.
  • The funding application must be submitted as soon as possible and, in any case, before the activity to be funded takes place.

 

Membership and Logos

When attributing authorship of all articles and other publications, the following reference to GOVCOPP must be included:

  • Author, GOVCOPP-Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness, and Public Policy, organizational unit of the institution of higher education/department, institution of higher education.
  • Example: Anabela Botelho, GOVCOPP-Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness, and Public Policy, DEGEIT, University of Aveiro.

 

Plurianual Funding

Whenever GOVCOPP provides financial support for an activity that results in a thesis, an article, an abstract, a poster presentation, or a paper, the following text must be included:

  • This work received financial support from UID/04058 — Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness, and Public Policy — DOI 10.54499/UID/04058/2025 — funded by national funds through the FCT — Foundation for Science and Technology.

 

PRR / EQUIPAR+ Funding

UI GOVCOPP, using funding from the Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Equipar+ program, procured the following software, equipment, and services:

  • Renovation of the GOVCOPP Research Hub / DSS Lab (and equipping it with the following items: wired USB keyboards and mice, webcams, speakers, lapel microphones, USB headphones, 360° Meeting Owl, voice recorders, USB-C multiport adapters, monitors, workstations, tablets, and laptops)
  • Software: SMART PLS; MAXQDA; Marktest - Salex Index System; SABI; Bloomberg Terminal

Whenever scientific results have been obtained with the support of the software, databases, or use of the GOVCOPP Research Hub and the aforementioned equipment, and these results lead to theses, articles, a poster presentation, or a paper, the following text must be included:

Whenever GOVCOPP provides financial support (Multi-Year Funding) for an activity that results in a presentation, poster, report, or other printed or graphic material, the logos of the Portuguese Republic, the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT), and GOVCOPP must also be included.
