Cristina de Jesus is a PhD student in Tourism at the University of Aveiro. Is member of GOVCOOP since 2024.The researcher is about the influence of eco-civilization on the Chinese outbound tourist profile.
She was Member of Portuguese Parliament from 2018 to 2022. Before this she worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry in commercial and marketing areas. She won the prize "All Star" as one of the best employees in Portugal.
Cristina de Jesus was Councillor on Municipality of Cantanhede and President of Parish Council of Corticeiro de Cima.
Cristina de Jesus is Vice-chairman of the supervisory board at Observatório da China. She is member of Câmara de Comércio Portugal China PME: CCPC-PME.
Cristina de Jesus participated in several congresses with presentations on Chinese outbound tourism and the influence of eco-civilization on profile of Chinese outbound tourist.

February 2024: oral presentation in X Congresso Internacional Cientifico-Profissional de Turismo Cultural in Córdoba, Spain, with the theme “The influence of cultural tourism on the profile of Chinese tourists in the new era of eco-civilization”.
October 2023: Oral presentation in Second International Conference on Green and Innovation-driven Development in cities and Towns, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, China with the theme “The influence of eco-civilization on profile and taste of Chinese tourist”.
September 2023: Oral presentation in III Congresso Internacional. Diálogos Interculturais Portugal-China, Confucio Institute, Aveiro University, Portugal with the theme “The influence of eco-civilization on the profile and behavior of Chinese tourists”.
