Marta Claudio is a results-driven Portuguese executive and researcher with over 30 years of global leadership experience across the luxury, automotive, and manufacturing industries. She is widely recognized for steering complex, multicultural organizations toward sustainable growth, managing multi-million-euro budgets, and delivering operational excellence with full P&L accountability. Alongside her executive career, Marta maintains a strong commitment to scientific inquiry, innovation, and applied research, particularly in sustainable manufacturing, industrial systems, and the future of responsible production. Over the past two years, as Managing Director at JADE Groupe – LVMH Métiers d’Art, Marta has driven business expansion and reinforced brand leadership in luxury craftsmanship. Her work integrates sustainability principles with advanced manufacturing and artisanal excellence, reflecting her interest in how technology, materials science, and circularity can shape the next generation of luxury. Previously, she served as CEO of Sodecia’s Safety & Mobility Division, overseeing seven plants across three continents. Throughout more than two decades at Sodecia, she held several senior roles, including Chief Controlling and Information Officer, COO of South America, and multiple General Manager positions, leading global teams, industrial transformations, and large-scale manufacturing programs. Her leadership consistently emphasized process optimization, technological innovation, and sustainable value creation. Her career began in engineering and project management at Delphi (Aptiv) and Edscha, where she led manufacturing innovation, continuous improvement initiatives, and international product launches, experiences that sparked her enduring interest in research, industrial engineering, and the science of production systems. Marta holds a Master of Science in Information and Enterprise Systems (IST), two MBAs (FGV and ISCTE), and a Degree in Industrial Engineering and Production (IPG/ESTG). She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Engineering and Industrial Management at the University of Aveiro, with research focused on sustainable manufacturing, industrial competitiveness, and advanced management systems. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, with working knowledge of French and basic German.
