Dr. Muhammad Noman Shafique is an accomplished researcher and academic in the field of Business Management, specializing in Supply Chain Management, Digital Transformation, Circular Economy, and Industry 5.0. Currently, he is a Researcher at the University of Aveiro, contributing to the BESIDE EU Horizon 2020 Project, where he explores innovative solutions for sustainable business practices and technological advancements in supply chains, and management. Dr. Shafique completed his Postdoctoral Research at the University of Aveiro in 2023, deepening his expertise in interdisciplinary research related to digital transformation and supply chain revolution. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Management from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, China, in 2020, focusing on the integration of advanced information technologies with green supply chain management. He also holds an M.Phil. in Business Administration from Preston University, Pakistan, in 2014, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Virtual University of Pakistan in 2011. With extensive experience in academia and research, Dr. Shafique has previously worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Buner and Gomal University, where he taught courses on Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Management, Marketing, and Research Methodology. In addition to teaching, he has actively collaborated with international researchers on high-impact studies.
