Dr Nawaz Ahmad is an Associate Professor & former HoD at the Department of Business Administration; Full Member at GOVCOPP, University of Aveiro, Portugal; Editor in Cheif of "Bulletin of Multidisciplinary Studies (BMS)" – HEC recognized journal; Editor of the "International Journal of Emerging Business and Economic Trends (IJEBET)" – HEC recognized journal; Convener of the Research Society at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University; and Principal Consultant at RTS (Research Training Solutions), Karachi. Besides teaching research courses, he has been the founder-editor of the "International Journal of Experiential Learning and Case Studies" (IJELCS) – a HEC-recognized, double-blind, peer-reviewed journal published by the Institute of Business Management. He edited the journal for five years till December 2020. As an active researcher, he led the Publications Consultancy Support Centre, which primarily supports faculty, scholars, and students with their publications in impact-factor journals and Capstone Projects. Additionally, he serves on the Editorial Board of leading National and International Journals. He has excellent industry liaison skills and is involved in a range of training activities. Dr Ahmad holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce, a Master’s in Finance, an MPhil in Management Sciences (financial economics), a PhD in Business Administration (Entrepreneurship and Venture Financing), and a Post-Doc in Management Sciences (corporate governance). His career spans 25 years. He has been associated with universities and consulted with national and international entities during his tenure. The corporate clients whom he worked/is working with are; Asian Development Bank (ADB), Martin Dow Ltd., Epla Laboratories, Bosch Pharmaceutical, Searle Pharmaceutical, Gadoon Textile, The Brand Consultant (tbc), National Idea Bank (NIB) and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), whereas educational institutions where he provided/providing consultancy are; International Balkan University, Macedonia, American College of Dubai, UAE; Jinnah University for Women, Karachi; Pakistan Study Centre, University of Sindh; UMT, Lahore; IBA Sukkur; IBA, University of Sindh; Metropolitan University, Karachi; SBBU-SBA; Textile Institute of Pakistan and Department of History, University of Karachi. He also provides consultancy in Open Journal Systems (OJS) and Conference Management Systems (CMS).
