SILVANA SERRÃO (silvana.serrao@ua.pt) was born in Madeira Island, Portugal. She graduated in Tourism at the University of Aveiro (UA) in 2012 and completed her Master's degree in Management and Tourism Planning at the same University in 2017. Currently she attends the PhD in Turismo (UA). Between 2018 and 2021 she has been involved in research projects, as Research Fellow. She has professional training and research skills in Qualitative Data Analysis with NVivo 12 software and WebQDA software and Quantitative Data Analysis with SPSS software. Her main research interests are related to tourism studies and wine studies, namely, tourism development; tourism planning; cultural events; regional and local development; stakeholders; territorial dynamics; performance indicators and decision-making in the wine industry and tourism sector, among others. She's also author and co-author of articles in national and international journals.
