Filipe Rocha is a PhD student in Public Policy at the University of Aveiro (Portugal). He has a MSc in Public Administration and Management from the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and a degree in Sociology from the University of Porto (Portugal).
He was a researcher on the Ecological Footprint of Portuguese Municipalities project (2019-2021), developed by the Global Footprint Network, ENGO ZERO and UA, awarded in 2022 with the UA Cooperation 2021 award, for its strong impact on cooperation with society for environmental sustainability.
He focuses his research on environmental sustainability policies, environmental education, transition and food innovation, with a particular focus on local governance.
