Raúl Carneiro is a PhD candidate in Political Science (University of Aveiro / University of Beira Interior). He holds a master's degree (MSc) in Political Science and a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Public Administration (University of Aveiro). Since 2019 he has worked in projects associated with the Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy (GOVCOPP), funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology - FCT, and with the Research Group in Territory and Innovation (GETIN-UA) at the Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences of the University of Aveiro. His main research interests are local governance, innovation and regional development, governance networks and digital transformation in the public sector.
