The present is controlled by contradictory discourses about the crisis. In this article
we propose an overview on the conceptual framework that allow us to understand
the crisis in socioeconomic systems. It creates conditions to think about
the links between crisis, capitalism and neoliberalism. Protecting contemporary
paradigms and ignoring the complexity of socio-economic systems, increases the
conditions to generate and/or extend crisis.
