Mónica D'Orey has a degree in Auditing from ISCAP, a postgraduate degree in Finance and Taxation from FEP, a PhD student in Accounting from UA, and holds a Specialist Title in Accounting and Taxation obtained through public exams at IPP.
She began her career in 1995 as an Auditor in an International Auditing Company (Big-4), is currently a Statutory Auditor of companies in various sectors of activity, is a Certified Accountant and an Accounting Expert.
She serves as a Member of the Representative Assembly of the Order of Statutory Auditors (OROC) mandate 2021/2023; Alternate Member of the Representative Assembly of the OROC mandate 2018/2020.
Trainer in the Order of Certified Accountants (OCC), and author of the manual "Consolidation of Accounts and Equity Method".
Adjunct Guest Professor at the Higher Institute of Accounting and Administration of Porto/IPP since 2012, where at the level of the Degree in Accounting and Administration she is the head teacher of the Curricular Unit (UC) of Accounting of Groups and Special Operations, teaches the UC of Advanced Financial Accounting, taught the UC of Public Accounting, Sectorial Accounting and Financial Accounting; at the level of the Master in Auditing she is head teacher of the UC of International Accounting.
