Humberto Ribeiro is professor at University of Aveiro (ESTGA), Portugal, having a PhD in Business and Management Research from Leicester Business School, De Montfort University, England, UK. He also has a bachelor in Economics and master degrees in Accounting and Corporate Finance, and in Quantitative Methods. Lecturing several subjects in economics and management, his research activities cover a wide range of topics, such as mergers & acquisitions, sustainability & development, healthcare, accounting & auditing, and other in corporate finance, being an integrated member of the research unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP). He is the author of numerous academic and professional publications.
