Brenno Vitorino Costa is currently a PhD Candidate at the University of Aveiro, Portugal. He has an MSc in Hospitality Studies from Anhembi Morumbi University (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and a degree in Tourism from the University of Sao Paulo. He is a Lecturer in the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Sao Paulo and lectures undergraduate courses in Tourism Management since 2006. Presently, he is a member of the research unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policy (GOVCOPP) at the University of Aveiro. His research interests involve studying and encouraging tourist use of public transport in tourism destinations, tourism planning and development, travel agencies and higher education in tourism.
