Science4Policy 2024 - Science for Public Policy Research Competition
The Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (FCT, I.P.), in collaboration with the Competence Centre for Planning, Policies, and Foresight in Public Administration (PlanAPP), is launching the second edition of the Science4Policy (S4P) initiative: Science Competition for Public Policy Studies. This initiative aims to support the development of scientific research studies applied to public policies, stimulating the production of knowledge and evidence that strengthens the Public Administration's internal competencies in supporting the definition and implementation of public policies, planning, and policy evaluation, involving different government areas.
S4P-24 has a maximum overall budget of €1,350,000 . One research study will be funded per thematic line , up to the maximum funding defined in the respective thematic line, which is between €35,000 and €50,000 .
Who can apply?
- Higher education institutions, their institutes and R&D units
- State Laboratories
- Associated Laboratories
- Private non-profit institutions whose main purpose is R&D activities
- Other public and private non-profit institutions that carry out or participate in scientific research activities
