Longrui (Lori) currently is a PhD candidate in Universidade de Aveiro. Her interests include sports tourism, gender equality, national parks, etc. 

Her current research is mainly based on qualitative methods. She has an international research background, which includes United Kingdom, United States and China. She holds a Master's degree in Development Administration and Planning in University College London(UCL). She also holds a double Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University (BSc-Recreation, Sports and Park Management) and Hainan University (BSc-Urban Planning)

Lori used to do field research in United Kingdom, China, Brazil, etc. She is also a member of American Association of Geographers (AAG). Since her bachelor degree, she has delivered several presentations at different international conferences. Her PhD work plan has been funded by FCT scholarship.
