Sílvia Ferreira Jorge has a PhD in Industrial Economics from the Nova School of Business and Economics and a degree in Economics from the Faculdade de Economia do Porto.
She is Assistant Professor in the University of Aveiro, at the Department of Economics, Management, Industrial Engineering and Tourism. She lectures under graduated and graduated courses of Microeconomics, Industrial Organization and Economics of Information and Uncertainty.
Presently, she is a member of the research unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies - GOVCOPP.
Her main topics of research are Industrial Economics, Game Theory, Microeconomics, Economics of Information and Uncertainty, Experimental Economics and Family Firms and has published in international journals.
