Miguel Lucas Pires has a PhD in Law from the University of Coimbra, a MSC in Law from the same University and a degree in Law also form the University of Coimbra. He is an Assistent Professor in the University of Aveiro, at the Department of Social, Political and Territorial Sciences. He lectures graduated and undergraduated courses of Law Introduction, Public Law, Public Employmente Law and Public Procuerement He is arbitrator in several arbitral courts and external law counselor He is also a member of GOVCOPP and his major investigation areas are Public Employment, Public Procurement, Insolvency and Sports Law
