Adriana Fumi Chim-Miki holds her PhD in Tourism, Economics, and Management at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain. Also, she has a Master's degree in Geography - Regional development, a postgraduate in Environmental Management at Municipalities, and a degree in Management from the Federal University of Rio Grande, Brazil. She is a postdoctoral researcher at Aveiro University, Portugal, a permanent Professor in the Graduate Program in Management and an Adjunct Professor in the Undergraduate Program in Management at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Brazil. Collaborate professor at the Master in Tourism Management at the University of San Buenaventura de Cali, Colombia. She is a full member of the Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP) at Aveiro University, Portugal and the Coordinator of the research group Coopetition Network Lab registered by CNPq (National Council for Scientific and Technological Development) from Brazil. Due to her career path, the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) endowed her with a Researcher Productivity Grant. She published many national and international scientific papers and is a reviewer and member of scientific editorials. Her research has been mainly financial support through the Capes Foundation, the Ministry of Education, Brazil, and CNpq.
