GOVCOPP researchers among the world’s top 2% most influential scientists and the most cited in 2024
The international ranking "Stanford World's Top 2% Scientists", published annually by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier, identifies the most important researchers on the international scientific scene, covering 22 major scientific areas and 174 specific disciplines. This ranking comprises two dimensions: cumulative impact throughout career and impact in a single year .
As in the 2023 edition, GOVCOPP researchers figure among the top scientists recognised in this ranking. In the dimension that assesses cumulative impact, GOVCOPP is represented by Elisabeth Kastenholz . Regarding the impact in 2024, eight researchers integrate the list advanced by the Standford University and Elsevier: Elisabeth Kastenholz , Mara Madaleno , António Carrizo Moreira , João Reis , Margarita Robaina , Albérico Travassos Rosário , Carlos Costa , and Faruk Seyitoğlu .
