Tourism and Development – TD

About

The Tourism and Development Research Group conducts research on the interactions between tourism, territory, and sustainable development. Adopting a multidisciplinary approach, it analyses the impacts, opportunities, and challenges of tourism activity, with a focus on sustainability, innovation, the valorization of territorial resources, and the quality of life of local communities. By linking fundamental and applied research, it produces knowledge for the planning, management, and monitoring of destinations, contributing to policies, strategies, and practices that promote competitive, inclusive, resilient, and regenerative economic, territorial, and socio-ecological systems.
