About

The Competitiveness, Innovation and Sustainability research group studies the factors that influence the economic efficiency of production systems, considering the sustainable use of resources, environmental protection and the challenges of companies and regions. It adopts a multidisciplinary approach, develops excellent research, promotes initiatives with societal impact and strengthens the connection with society. Its activities focus on areas such as energy and sustainability, natural resources, innovation, international economics, lean management, operations, logistics, supply chain, quality, human resources, skills and literacy, contributing to economic development.
